Households & people
Households, the people in them, roles and permissions, invitations and sharing.
- Create a householdA household is the vault that holds your people, documents and records. Create one from the People page and you become its Owner.
- Add a person to your householdAdd yourself, family members or anyone whose records you keep. Government IDs and phone numbers are encrypted and shown masked by default.
- Use a person's profileA person's profile brings together their government IDs, bank accounts, documents, medical records and history, with edit, reveal, login and sharing controls.
- Household roles and permissionsEach household member has one role - Owner, Adult, Limited or Member - that controls whether they can edit, reveal masked values, export data or manage access.
- Give a household member their own sign-inOwners can give a person in the household their own login by assigning an email and role. Access applies at once, or on their first sign-in if they have no account yet.
- Share a person with another householdShare a person read-only into another household, so for example two siblings can both see an elderly parent, while edits stay in the person's home household.
- Switch between householdsUse the Household selector at the top of the sidebar to focus every page on one household, or choose All households to see everything you can access.
