- What is Personal360?
- A private, encrypted place to keep your household's records: passports and IDs, insurance and warranties, bank details, medical history and lab reports. It tracks what expires, tells you before it lapses, and keeps everything organised per person rather than in a folder you have to remember the shape of.
- Do I have to upload my documents into Personal360?
- No. If your files already live in Google Drive, OneDrive or a Synology NAS, you connect that instead and Personal360 reads them where they are — read-only, streamed on demand, with no second copy kept. Uploading into the app's own encrypted storage is one option of three, not a requirement.
- Is my data encrypted?
- Yes, at the level of individual fields. Government IDs, phone numbers, account numbers, lab values and medical notes are encrypted with AES-256-GCM before they are written to the database, so the raw table contains ciphertext rather than readable values. Sensitive fields also render masked by default, and revealing one is a deliberate, audited action.
- Who in my family can see what?
- You decide, per person, using four roles. An Owner has full control including export and deletion. An Adult can read, write and reveal sensitive values. A Limited role — intended for teenagers — can keep their own records but cannot reveal secrets or export. A Member can only read. Permissions are enforced everywhere, including on what the built-in assistant is allowed to answer with.
- Can several households share one person's records?
- Yes. A person can be shared read-only into another household — siblings in different homes can both see an elderly parent's records, while the home household stays the only one that can edit them.
- Does the AI assistant see my private information?
- Sensitive fields are redacted on the server before any text is sent to a model. If no AI provider is configured, the assistant still works — it returns your own matching records instead of generating an answer, so nothing leaves the system at all.
- What happens to lab reports I add?
- Values are extracted, tracked over time, and shown against their reference range, so you can see a trend rather than a single number. Personal360 describes range status only — it does not diagnose, and it is not a medical device.
- Will it remind me before something expires?
- Yes. Anything with an expiry date — a passport, a visa, a licence, an insurance policy — is watched, and you are emailed ahead of the deadline. The default schedule is 90, 60, 30 and 7 days out, and it can be set per document.
- Can I get my data out again?
- Yes. A household's data can be exported in full at any time, and deleted in full. Deletion removes the records themselves, not just your view of them.
- What happens when I sign up?
- A new account starts with no household membership, which means it can see no records at all until you create your own household or someone grants you access. Setup then walks you through it: create the household, add the people in it, choose where files live, then add documents and health records.
