Switch between households
Use the Household selector at the top of the sidebar to focus every page on one household, or choose All households to see everything you can access.
Overview
If you belong to more than one household, the Household selector lets you choose which one you are looking at. It works like a filter for the whole app. Pages, the dashboard counts and search all follow it.
- All households shows every household you can access.
- Picking one household shows only that household's records.
Before you start
- You need access to at least one household. See Create a household.
Steps
- Find Household at the top of the sidebar, under the Personal360 name.
- Click the drop-down and choose a household, or All households.
- The page reloads and shows records for your choice.
- Your choice stays in place as you move between pages, until you change it again.
Example
Vikram Mehta is Owner of "the Mehta household" and a Member of his in-laws' household. On Sunday he picks his in-laws' household to check their upcoming appointments. Then he switches back to "the Mehta household" to add a new insurance document.
FAQs
Does the selector affect search and the dashboard?
Yes. Search results and the dashboard counts only cover the selected household. Choose All households to include everything you can read.
Does switching sign me out or lose unsaved work?
It doesn't sign you out, but the page reloads, so save any form you are filling in before you switch.
Will people shared into a household show up?
Yes. When you pick a household, people shared into it are listed under Shared into this household (read-only) on People.
Troubleshooting
A household is missing from the list
You may not have access yet. If an Owner just gave you access, sign out and sign in again.
Records seem to have disappeared
A single household is probably selected. Switch to All households.
