Understand your dashboard
The dashboard shows a household overview of people, expiring documents, appointments and medications, plus household health and a printable emergency summary.
Overview
The Dashboard is your home page after signing in. It gives one consolidated view of your household: key counts at a glance and everyone's health in one place. It follows the Household selector in the sidebar, so it can show one household or all of them.
Before you start
- While your required setup steps are unfinished, the dashboard shows the guided setup card and a What you unlock preview instead of the panels below. See Guided setup.
Steps
- Click Dashboard at the top of the sidebar.
- Read the Household overview panel. Each tile is a link:
- People - opens People.
- Documents expiring soon - opens IDs & Documents filtered to expiring items. The number turns amber when something needs attention.
- Upcoming appointments - opens Appointments.
- Medications - opens People, where medications are listed on each person's profile.
- Scroll to Household health. It covers blood groups, metrics, focus areas and emergency compatibility for the people you can see. See Household health dashboard.
- Click Emergency summary (print) at the top right to open a one-page summary you can print.
- To narrow everything to one household, change the Household selector in the sidebar.
Example
Vikram Mehta opens the dashboard and sees Documents expiring soon: 2 in amber. He clicks the tile and finds his passport (ending 4321) and a car insurance policy close to their renewal dates.
FAQs
What counts as "expiring soon"?
Documents that have already expired or are within their alert window. See Expiry dates and renewals.
Why do the numbers differ from what my partner sees?
The dashboard only counts households you can access and follows your own Household selector. Your partner may have a different selection or different access.
What's in the emergency summary?
Blood groups, allergies, conditions and medications for the people in your households, on one page.
Troubleshooting
The dashboard only shows the setup card
Your required setup steps are not finished yet. Complete Create your household, Add the people in it and Choose where your files live, and the full dashboard appears.
Numbers look too low
Check the Household selector. If a single household is selected, choose All households.
