Search your records or ask a question
Use the bar at the top of every page to find people, documents, medications, reports, appointments and utilities instantly, or press Ask for an answer from the assistant.
Overview
The bar at the top of every app page does two jobs. As you type, it searches your records by name. When you press Ask (or Enter), it sends your question to the assistant, which answers from your records and lists the sources it used. Both only ever look at households you are allowed to see.
Before you start
- Type at least 2 characters before search results appear.
- Search follows the Household selector. If one household is selected, only that household is searched.
Steps
Search
- Click the box that says Search your records, or ask a question….
- Type a name or word, for example "passport" or "Asha".
- Pick a result from the list. Each result shows a type label: Person, Document, Medication, Medical report, Appointment or Utility.
- You are taken to the matching page, such as the person's profile.
Ask
- Type a full question, for example "When does my passport expire?"
- Press Ask or the Enter key.
- Read the Answer. Below it, sources are listed, sometimes with a download link for the file.
Example
Asha Rao types "thyroid". Search shows a Medication result for her father and a Medical report for a thyroid panel. She then types "When was Dad's last thyroid test?" and presses Ask. The answer cites the report it used.

Is my search saved anywhere?
Search queries are sent privately and are not put in the page address or browser history.
Is Ask the same as the "Ask Personal360" button?
They use the same assistant. The Ask Personal360 button opens a larger panel where you can also choose a focus, such as medical or appointments. See Ask the assistant.
Troubleshooting
"No matches. Press Ask to query the assistant."
Nothing matched by name. Try a shorter word, check the Household selector, or press Ask to let the assistant look more widely.
