Overview

Every record in Personal360, whether an ID, a lab report or a prescription, is filed against a person. Adding a person creates their profile in a household. A person does not need their own sign-in. Children, for example, can simply be people in your household.

Before you start

  • You need a household. See Create a household.
  • Your role in that household must be Owner or Adult. Limited and read-only members can't add people.

Steps

  1. Open People in the sidebar.
  2. Find the household's section. Click + Add person, or Add first person if the household is empty.
  3. On Add person, fill in what you know. Only Full name is required. You can also add:
    • Preferred name, Date of birth and Gender
    • SSN (US), Aadhaar (India), PAN (India), Passport # and Driver's license #
    • Phone (US) and Phone (India)
    • US address and India address
  4. Click Create person. You return to People, where the new person is listed by name.
  5. Click their name to open the profile and add documents, medical records and more. See A person's profile.
Note:Government IDs and phone numbers are encrypted at rest and shown masked, such as a passport ending 4321. Showing the full value is a separate, logged action.
Tip:Start with yourself, then add your spouse or partner, children and any parents whose records you manage.

Example

Vikram Mehta adds his daughter "Anaya Mehta" with her date of birth and passport number. She doesn't need to sign in, so he leaves login access unset. On her profile, the passport number appears masked.

FAQs

Do I have to fill in every field?

No. Only Full name is required. Adding a date of birth or at least one ID makes the profile more useful, and guided setup will gently remind you if a profile is missing both.

Can the person sign in to see their own records?

Yes, if an Owner gives them a login. See Invite household members.

Can I put the same person in two households?

Add the person once, in their home household, then share them read-only into the other. See Share a person across households.

Troubleshooting

I get an error when I click Create person

Your role may be read-only (Member) in that household. Ask an Owner to change your role, or to add the person for you.

The new person doesn't appear

Check the Household selector in the sidebar. Choose All households or the household you added them to.
