Sign in and sign out
How to sign in with email and password or with Google, how long a session lasts (8 hours), and how to sign out from the account menu.
Overview
You sign in with the email and password you chose, or with Google if your account was created that way. A session lasts 8 hours. After that you are asked to sign in again, which limits the risk of a forgotten open browser.
Before you start
- You need an account. See Create your account.
- If you signed up with Google, sign in with Google. Those accounts have no Personal360 password.
Steps
Sign in
- Open the Personal360 sign-in page. It says Welcome back.
- Enter your Email address and Password, then click Sign in.
- Or click Continue with Google, if it is shown.
- You land on the Dashboard.
Sign out
- Click your name at the bottom of the sidebar.
- Choose Sign out. You return to the sign-in page.
Example
Asha Rao checks her mother's medication list on a family laptop. When she is done, she clicks her name and then Sign out, so the next person who uses the laptop cannot open the household's records.
FAQs
Why was I signed out in the middle of the day?
Sessions end 8 hours after you sign in. Sign in again and carry on. Nothing you saved is lost.
Are my sign-ins recorded?
Yes. Each sign-in is written to the activity log for security. See Activity log.
Someone gave me access to their household. Do I need to do anything?
No. Pending access for your email is applied when you sign in, so the household appears after your next sign-in.
Troubleshooting
"Invalid email or password"
Check the email for typos and make sure Caps Lock is off. If you still cannot get in, click Forgot password? next to the password field. See Reset your password.
Google sign-in fails
"Google sign-in expired or was interrupted" usually clears if you try again. "Your Google email isn't verified" means you need to verify that address with Google first.
I still can't get in
See I can't sign in, or click Contact support below the sign-in form.
