Account security tips
Practical steps to keep your Personal360 account safe — strong passwords, signing out, checking activity, giving family the right roles, and managing Telegram links.
Overview
Your Personal360 account can reveal a family's IDs and medical history, so it deserves the same care as your bank login. These tips use features already in the app and take only a few minutes.
Before you start
- Know how you sign in: with email and password, or with Continue with Google. Google accounts are protected by your Google security settings.
Steps
- Use a strong, unique password. Personal360 requires at least 10 characters, an uppercase and a lowercase letter, a number and a symbol. Don't reuse a password from another site. A password manager makes this easy.
- Sign out on shared computers. Click your name at the bottom of the sidebar, then Sign out. Sessions end on their own after eight hours, but don't rely on that on a shared device.
- Reset your password if in doubt. Use Forgot password? on the sign-in page. A successful reset signs out every other device straight away, and you get an email saying Your Personal360 password was changed. See Reset your password.
- Give each person their own account. Never share your login with family. Invite them instead and choose a role that fits:
- Adult for a partner who needs to reveal and export.
- Limited for a teenager managing only their own records (they don't see the rest of the household).
- Member for someone who only needs to read.
- Review Activity regularly. Open Activity and scan for REVEAL, DOWNLOAD and EXPORT entries you don't expect. See The Activity log.
- Check linked Telegram accounts. In Settings → Telegram assistant, look at Linked accounts and click Unlink on any you don't recognise or no longer use.
- Handle exports carefully. An export file contains unmasked values. Store it encrypted and delete stray copies.
- Watch for unexpected emails. If you get a password-reset or password-changed email you didn't ask for, sign in and change your password, then contact Support.
Example
Farhan Ali notices a Your Personal360 password was changed email he didn't expect. He uses Forgot password? to set a new password, which signs out every other session. He then opens Activity, sees no unusual reveals, and unlinks an old Telegram account from his previous phone.
FAQs
What happens if I type the wrong password?
Sign-in shows "Invalid email or password" without saying which part was wrong, so nobody can use the sign-in page to find out whether an address has an account. Password-reset requests are also rate-limited.
I sign in with Google. Do I need a Personal360 password?
No. Your account uses Google, so secure your Google account instead. Reset emails for a Google account explain how to sign in with Google.
How long do I stay signed in?
Up to eight hours. After that you are asked to sign in again.

I think someone else has used my account
