Reset a forgotten password
Request a reset link from the sign-in page, then set a new password within 60 minutes. The link works once, and your other sessions are signed out.
Overview
If you forget your password, Personal360 emails you a one-time link to choose a new one. The link expires after 60 minutes and works only once. When you set a new password, every other signed-in session is signed out.
Before you start
- You need access to the email inbox for your account.
- If you signed up with Google, there is no password to reset. You will get an email explaining how to sign in instead.
Steps
- On the sign-in page, click Forgot password? next to the password field.
- Enter your Email address and click Send reset link.
- You see Check your email. Open the email from Personal360 and click the link.
- On Set a new password, type a New password. The checklist shows the rules:
- At least 10 characters
- An uppercase and a lowercase letter
- A number
- A symbol (e.g. ! ? @ # $)
- Type it again in Confirm new password.
- Click Update password. You see Password updated.
- Click Sign in and sign in with your new password.
Example
Vikram Mehta forgets his password. He requests a link, opens the email on his phone ten minutes later and sets a new password. His old session on the office computer is signed out automatically.
FAQs

60 minutes, and for one use only. After that, request a new link.
Can I change my password while I'm signed in?
There is no change-password option in Settings today. Sign out and use Forgot password? to set a new one.
What makes a good password?
Choose a strong password you don't use anywhere else. It must meet all four rules in the checklist.
Troubleshooting
The email never arrived
Check your spam or junk folder. Make sure you typed the address you signed up with; try a different address lets you send it again. If you signed up with Google, you get a sign-in email instead of a reset link.
"Link no longer valid"
The link has expired or was already used. Click Request a new link.
"Too many reset requests. Please wait a few minutes and try again."
Reset requests are limited to stop abuse. Wait about 15 minutes, then try again.
