Lab values missing or wrong

Fix lab results that don't appear, show the wrong date, or look misread — pending analysis, files with no lab values, misfiled reports, undated readings and AI extraction limits.

Overview

Personal360 reads lab values out of the medical reports you link, using AI, and tracks them over time against their reference ranges. Most problems come from a report that hasn't been analysed yet, a file that contains no lab numbers, a report filed under the wrong person, or a reading with no date.

Before you start

  • The report must be linked to the right person — uploaded on their profile, added with Bulk add reports, or picked up from their folder by sync.
  • You need the Owner or Adult role to run a sync — it reads every member's files. Limited members can upload reports to their own record instead.

Steps

  1. Open the lab overview. Go to Medical & Health and open Lab Analysis & Comparison.
  2. Read the person's card. It shows "X of Y reports analyzed" and the number of readings, plus badges:
    • pending — reports waiting to be analysed.
    • no lab values — files where no lab numbers were found, such as a vaccination card or a prescription. This is normal.
    • A red flag that a document names someone else — a possibly misfiled report.
  3. Run a sync. Under Sync & update from source, click Sync now & update. This analyses pending reports. Large batches can take a few minutes.
  4. Resolve misfiled reports. Click the flag. For each document, choose ✓ Correct if it really is this person's, move it to the right family member, or 🗑 Remove it. Lab values follow the report.
  5. Check the date. Each reading is dated from the sample collection date, else the report date, else a date in the file name. A reading with no date at all is never treated as the latest. Renaming the file to include a date, like Bloodwork_2026-03-14.pdf, and syncing again helps.
  6. Compare with the original. On the report, click Preview and check the printed value. AI can misread blurry scans, handwritten values or unusual layouts.
  7. Replace a bad scan. If the original is unclear, upload a clearer copy or the lab's PDF, then sync again.
Important:Lab analysis describes values and whether they're in or out of range. It does not diagnose. Always confirm results with your doctor and the original report.

Example

The Banerjee household links six reports for Mrs. Banerjee, but her card says "4 of 6 reports analyzed" with 2 pending. Her son clicks Sync now & update. One report then shows readings; the other is marked no lab values — it's an X-ray report, which has no lab numbers. Everything is now accounted for.

FAQs

Why do units look different from my lab report?

Personal360 lines up the same test from different labs so trends can be compared, which can mean converting units. Check the original report with Preview if a value looks off.

Why isn't my newest report the "latest" value?

The latest value is chosen by sample date, not by when you uploaded it. A report with no readable date can't count as latest — add a date to the file name and sync again.

Do lab values need AI to work?

Yes. Reading values out of reports uses AI. If AI is unavailable, reports stay pending until the next successful sync.

Troubleshooting

"No analyzed records yet."

No reports have been analysed. Link medical reports on a person's profile, then click Sync now & update.

"No NAS/cloud storage connected — set it up on the File Storage page."

Sync can't read folders without connected storage. Upload reports directly on the person's profile instead, or connect storage on File Storage.

Sync keeps leaving reports pending
