Misfiled and conflicting reports

When a report's printed patient name doesn't match the person it's filed under, Personal360 flags it. Confirm it, move it to the right person, or remove it.

Overview

Reports are always filed under the person whose folder or profile they were added to. That's the source of truth. While reading a report, Personal360 also looks at the patient name printed on it. If that name shares no part with the person's name, the report is flagged as possibly misfiled.

You'll see the flag in two places on Medical & Health:

  • 🧬 Lab Analysis & Comparison — a red ⚠ N misfiled? badge on the person's card.
  • 🗂️ Records & Medications — a red ⚠ names printed name tag next to the report.

The person's lab report also lists these under Name / folder conflicts (folder is source of truth) in the appendix.

Note:A flag is a prompt to check, not an error. Nicknames, initials or a maiden name can trigger it even when the report is filed correctly.

Before you start

  • Resolving a flag needs the household Owner role.
  • Moving a report to someone else also needs edit access to that person's household.

Steps

  1. Open Medical & Health.
  2. On the 🧬 Lab Analysis & Comparison tab, click ⚠ N misfiled? on a person's card. A panel lists each flagged file and the name it contains ("Document names …").
  3. For each file, choose one:
    • ✓ Correct — it belongs here. The flag clears.
    • ➡ first name — move it to that household member. Its lab data moves with it.
    • 🗑 Remove — delete the report and any lab data it produced. You'll be asked to confirm.
  4. Or, on 🗂️ Records & Medications, click the ⚠ names tag and choose ✓ It's correct — keep it here, ➡ Move to name, or 🗑 Remove this document.
  5. When all are resolved, the panel shows "All resolved ✓".
Tip:If you're unsure, click Preview on the report first and check the name and date printed on it.

Example

A report under Asha Rao's name reads "Patient: Vikram Mehta". Asha opens ⚠ 1 misfiled?, sees "Document names Vikram Mehta", and clicks ➡ Vikram. The report and its readings now appear in Vikram's analysis instead of hers.

FAQs

Will a moved report change the lab analysis?

Yes. Its values leave the old person's report and join the new person's, and both combined health profiles are refreshed.

Can I undo Remove?

No. Removing deletes the report record and its extracted lab data. Your original file in your NAS or cloud folder isn't touched by this action, but it may be linked again on the next sync if it's still in that person's folder.

Why is a correctly filed report flagged?

The printed name shares no word with the profile name — for example a short name versus a full name. Click ✓ Correct.

Troubleshooting

Clicking an option shows an error

You may not have the Owner role, or edit access to the target person. Ask the household owner.

The same file keeps coming back after Remove

It's still in the person's synced folder. Move or delete the file in your storage, then sync again.
