Compare lab results

Select two or more people and open a side-by-side lab comparison for the latest results or a chosen year, within one household or across households.

Updated 16 Oct 2026

Overview

The comparison report puts several people's lab values next to each other, one column per person. For each person it uses the most recent reading inside the period you choose, converted to common units first.

The report has two tabs:

  • 🧪 Lab Comparison — ✨ AI Top deficiencies & abnormalities across everyone, the Side-by-side comparison table, Highlights, Per-metric verdicts, and Notes (dates used, exclusions).
  • 🩺 Health Profiles — a Health Profile comparison matrix of each person's profile details.

A ✨ Ask AI button answers questions across the whole group, such as "Who is low on Vitamin D?"

Important:Comparisons show range status only. They don't rank anyone's health, diagnose, or replace medical advice. Each person should review their own results with a doctor.

Before you start

  • At least two people need analyzed lab reports. See Lab analysis and trends.
  • You need read access to every person you select.

Steps

  1. Open Medical & Health. The 🧬 Lab Analysis & Comparison tab opens first.
  2. Under People with lab records, tick the checkbox on two or more person cards.
  3. In the comparison section, choose a period: Latest available or a specific year.
  4. Click Compare (N). The report opens in a new tab.
  5. Search for a metric (for example "LDL") or use Expand all / Collapse all.
  6. Click ⤓ Save as PDF to keep a copy.

To compare across households, tick Include all households (compare across households) first. This option appears only if you belong to more than one household. A Cross-household · N households badge confirms your selection, and the report labels each column with its household.

Tip:Choose a year when you want a like-for-like view, for example everyone's 2026 checkups. Latest available may mix dates from different years.

Example

The Mehta household compares Vikram and his father for 2026. The table shows each person's latest 2026 value for every shared test, coloured in range or out of range. Notes records which dates were used for each person.

FAQs

Why does a row say "unit mismatch — not compared"?

The two reports used units that couldn't be safely converted. That test is left out rather than compared wrongly.

Why is a cell N/A?

That person has no reading for the test in the selected period.

Can I compare one person against themselves?

Use their own report from View report — its Longitudinal results table already shows every date side by side.

Troubleshooting

The Compare button is greyed out

Select at least two people. With one selected you'll see "Pick at least one more person."

Someone from my other household is missing

Tick Include all households (compare across households). If the option isn't shown, you belong to only one household.
