Lab analysis and trends

Turn a person's lab reports into one longitudinal report showing every value over time, its range status, trend chips, and flags for out-of-range results.

Updated 16 Oct 2026

Overview

Personal360 reads the numbers in each person's lab reports and lines them up by date. The result is a Health Record Analysis report for that person, opened from Medical & Health → 🧬 Lab Analysis & Comparison → View report.

The report has two tabs: 🧪 Lab Analysis and 🩺 Health Profile (a combined profile built from all their records). The lab tab includes:

  • Headline figures — blood group, out of range, critical, improving, worsening, metrics tracked, dated panels.
  • Flags & trends — lists for Currently out of range, Critical, Improving and Worsening.
  • ✨ AI Top deficiencies & abnormalities — cards ranked by severity, with general guidance (Common causes, Foods, Lifestyle, Diet, Ayurvedic).
  • Longitudinal results — a table by category, newest date on the left, each cell coloured in range, out of range or N/A, with a trend chip (▲ or ▼) showing the last change.
  • Trends & deltas — sparklines and a short verdict per metric.
  • Data-quality appendix & source index — uncertain values, unit conversions, single-report metrics, files with no lab values, and every source file.
Important:Personal360 shows range status only. It does not diagnose and is not medical advice. The "general guidance" is generic, not personal. Always consult a doctor about your results.

Before you start

  • Add lab reports to the person — see Add medical reports.
  • To run Sync now & update, you need a role that can edit.

Steps

  1. Open Medical & Health in the sidebar. The 🧬 Lab Analysis & Comparison tab opens first.
  2. Under Sync & update from source, click Sync now & update. Wait for "Done."
  3. Optionally tick Background sync so new files are linked and analyzed every 4 hours and when the page opens.
  4. Under People with lab records, find the person. The card shows "N of M reports analyzed", the reading count and the date range.
  5. Click View report. It opens in a new tab.
  6. Type in the search box (for example "HbA1c") to jump to a metric. Use Expand all / Collapse all for categories.
  7. Hover a trend chip to see the exact change between the last two dates.
  8. Click ⤓ Save as PDF to print or save.
Tip:The arrow only shows which way the value moved. The colour shows what that move means for the range: green when it moved closer to (or into) the range, orange when it moved farther out, grey when it stayed in range. So the same rise can be green for one test and orange for another.

Example

Asha Rao opens her father's report. HbA1c shows 5.9% (2026), 6.1% (2025) — an illustrative example — with a green ▼ chip because the latest value moved toward the range. Vitamin D sits in Currently out of range. She saves the PDF to take to Dr. Example.

FAQs

What do "pending" and "no lab values" mean on a card?

Pending files are linked but not analyzed yet. No lab values files were read but contained no numbers to chart, such as imaging or prescriptions.

Why is a value listed as uncertain?

It was illegible or ambiguous on the source. Uncertain values are listed in the appendix and are never used in calculations.

Where do the reference ranges come from?

From the range printed on each report. Units are reconciled where needed, and conversions are listed in the appendix.

Troubleshooting

A person isn't listed under People with lab records

They have no analyzed reports yet. Add reports, then click Sync now & update.

A value looks wrong

Open the source file and compare. See Lab values missing or wrong.
