Medications
Add each person's medications with dosage, frequency, prescriber and dates, and see every medication in the household on the Medical & Health page.
Overview
Medications are stored per person. You add them from the person's profile, in the Medical section. Each one can hold:
- Medication (required)
- Dosage and Frequency
- Prescriber
- Start and End dates
- Notes
Every medication then appears on Medical & Health → 🗂️ Records & Medications, grouped by person, with dosage, frequency and prescriber. The Medications total at the top of that page counts them across everyone you can see.
Before you start
- The person must exist in your household.
- You need a role that can edit records.
Steps
- Open People in the sidebar and click the person's name.
- Scroll to the Medical section.
- Click + Add medication.
- Enter the Medication name, and optionally Dosage, Frequency and Prescriber.
- Set Start (and End if it's a short course).
- Click Save. The medication now shows in the person's Medical list.
- To review the household, open Medical & Health and click 🗂️ Records & Medications.
To remove a medication, click Delete next to it on the person's profile and confirm.
Example
Vikram Mehta adds his father's medicine: Medication "Example-statin", Dosage "10 mg", Frequency "once daily at night", Prescriber "Dr. Example". On Records & Medications it reads "Example-statin 10 mg once daily at night · Dr. Example".
